Managing traumatic stress: Tips for recovering from disasters and other traumatic events

This is a good article from the APA (American Psychological Association) website for family and friends of someone recovering from trauma. There is also a link to a questionaire you (somone who is recovering from a traumatic life event) can take as a way to gauge how you are coping and "growing" from your experience. It is useful to re-take this every 6-12 months post-traumatic event.
